Privacy & your data
What actually happens to your data, in plain words.
The formal version lives at the bottom of this page and says the same things in longer sentences.
On your phone.
Your training data lives in the app, on your device. If you never sign in, it never leaves.
When you sign in.
Signing in with a magic link (no password) turns on sync, so your ledger can follow you to a new phone. Synced data is stored under your account, readable by you alone.
What the coach sees.
When the AI coach reviews a session or drafts a block, it sees training numbers and readiness answers, never your name or email. Requests go through our server; there are no keys inside the app.
What we never do.
No ads. No selling data. No tracking pixels. No adherence surveillance. Your form-check videos stay on your phone. They are not uploaded.
Delete everything.
Delete your account in Settings and the deletion is real: your rows are removed, not flagged. Not signed in? “Erase local data” clears the device on the spot.
A training log, not medical advice.
The Ledger plans strength training around your schedule and how you report feeling. It is not a medical device, it doesn't diagnose or treat anything, and it's not a substitute for a clinician. You work with enough of them already.
This site.
This site sets no cookies and runs no third-party trackers. We count page-level events (like “the roster section was seen”) with no identity attached, to learn which parts of the story work.
The formal words
Effective July 2026.
The Ledger (“the app”) stores workout, readiness, and schedule data you enter. By default this data is stored locally on your device. If you sign in with your email address, the same data is synchronized to our database (hosted by Supabase), where access is restricted to your authenticated account. We do not sell personal data, serve advertising, or share your data with third parties except the infrastructure providers that run the service (hosting, database, email delivery, and AI processing), each acting on our instructions.
AI coaching features send session and readiness data (not your name or email address) to our server, which forwards it to our AI provider to generate a response. API credentials never reach your device.
You can delete your account and all associated server data at any time from the app's Settings; deletion is immediate and permanent. Signed-out users can erase all local data on the device with one action. This marketing site sets no cookies and collects anonymous, page-level usage events only.
